About
A Bella Yachting brand
Peace & Sails is the brand of Fethiye-based Bella Yachting for sailing experience, boat delivery and sailboat charter.
We bring our services and seamanship knowledge together under one roof. Our aim is to help you understand your options for sailing, delivery and charter, plan your route and find the right information for the service you need.
Bella Yachting is a yacht charter company in Fethiye offering gulet, sailboat and catamaran charters. Peace & Sails is its brand focused on sailing: our charter boat Safir, boat deliveries and the experience gained on long passages all sit under this roof.
bellayachting.com →Peace & Sails was founded by Barış Özbaykal, a skipper who served 25 years in the Turkish Navy from 1992 to 2017 and commanded ships of various types and tonnages. He holds the IYT Yachtmaster Offshore Sail certificate and has been delivering catamarans, sailboats and motor yachts since 2020.
Who is Barış Özbaykal? →Stands for proper planning and responsibility at sea. No decision to sail is made before the weather, the boat and the crew have been assessed.
Stands for discovering new places under sail. The feeling of reading the wind and choosing your own course.
Stands for the calm the sea brings. The stillness of an evening at anchor in a quiet bay.
Our route pages are example itineraries written for planning; estimated times are not exact. Information on documents, regulations and port procedures is general and must be checked against current official sources before sailing.
The sea photos on this site come from our own passages; the photos of Safir come from the Bella Yachting archive.
